The story is over before you get emotional attached and invested in the character. Without getting into each story, one think they all suffer from, is that they are too short. Battlefield 1 unfortunate suffers, but in a different way.They have these war stories that follow different people through world war one. Instead of one linear story that you progress through, they created a series of war stories. Battlefield 1 is no different.ĮA tries something new for their single player. EA and DICE continue to create stunning graphics for all its games. It’s all great to look at and bring WW1 into the 21st century is big way. Seeing the scorched earth of No Mans Land to the beautiful architecture of Europe, to the scenic amazement of the Sinai Desert. Those great graphics do a great job of showing the death and destruction of the first world war. The details in the graphics are flawless and perfect. The game is stunningly beautiful and graphically haunting. Very well executed concept and it is a really good sign that EA is willing to innovate. It is not 100% historically accurate, but if it were it would be worth playing. There was a lot of technological and tactical innovations and Battlefield 1 captures that part of the war well. My understanding of World War 1 was that armies stayed in trenches until they charged the enemy.No that I have learned a thing or two about WW1 is that it was the origin for warfare as we know it today. Now I was interested to see how they execute this concept.
